NUTS was set up in 2000 by Karl Bevan and since then has provided a boutique style of support to its clients, working in partnership to consult, design, build and deliver people development solutions across all levels of management.
NUTS use past proven learning interventions as well as utilising some of the latest developments in learning. Creating more brain compatible learning sessions face to face, online or the virtual approach. We take pride in building long term working relationships where we provide practical resources and expertise that enables participants to identify solutions that improve daily operational performance now and in the future.
As a business, we recognise the challenges you face in gaining the best from your human resource. More often than not the highest cost element and one that is the hardest to grapple with and ensure a more consistent and measurable performance is delivered. The Team
An innovative team of like-minded people who have a passion in enabling others to utilise more of their talent, achieve even higher levels of success in their work and community. The NUTS team consists of six individuals who bring a wealth of experience and variable skill sets that enable NUTS to provide innovative and effective people performance solutions that work in reality for clients. Karl Bevan
Performance Director & Coach
The founder and lead coach. Highly creative individual, with an unusually wide experience in working across variable industries, businesses and levels from entrepreneurial to large blue chip. A people performance expert who understands how humans ‘tick’ and uses his psychology and coaching background to work at the leading edge of performance and leadership development. He has worked in consultancy and then NUTS since leaving his senior management role 26 years ago. Currently delivers Leadership and Talent Development Solutions around the world.
Wendyanne Shapiro
Associate Management Coach & Trainer
A training professional who has worked in corporate business and with NUTS over the last 20 years. Wendyanne has a wealth of experience in working with HR and Learning & Development Functions to design and deliver a variety of workshops, programs and change initiatives to operational staff and management. She is currently working on Leadership Development Programmes in the UK, Europe and the US.
Ryan Bevan
Nutrition, Health and Wellness Specialist
Ryan has a BSc (Hon) degree in Sports Biomedicine and Nutrition and is assisting the NUTS Group by helping operational management at all levels with an insight in 'how to thrive', remain effective and efficient in an ever-increasing, demanding and stressful workplace where individuals, teams, business units and functions can become stuck or stall due to the amount of change and demands made upon them. To be better able to manage their own and understand others performance state influencers so they remain 'Fit 4 Work'.
Andy Gagen
Associate Management Mentor & Trainer
A proven leader in business working at the senior level after working through the management grades. Andy has a wealth of knowledge and skill in practically leading senior management teams and functions to deliver excellent customer service. Andy is also a qualified Coach/Mentor in Business and Sport and utilises this experience to support the training and development solutions he works on. Andy has been recently working on a UK Leadership Program alongside Senior Team Development Projects.
Alison Bevan
Operations Director
The heart of the business she manages and organises the team, produces materials, and kit for programs and provides and maintains the link between NUTS and its clients during programs. Is also an expert in providing training and delivering to individuals with learning difficulties or disability and provides support on larger group sessions as a facilitator.
